Sealed wallpaper pack by mrbiotech, September 11th, 2008. Download the multiple-resolution ZIP file, or download the image specific to your screen(s). Started off as a vector-based Photoshop sketch. Wanted to create something that looked modern and technical imposed upon something corroded and ancient. The text in the background IS indeed english (hint, hint).
