I don’t use boxed LS themes because they just seem to get in the way. Still wanted to try out LsBox.dll, so made a box theme that uses User-Configurable hotspots to hide/show boxes, change VWMs, show/hide winamp, (many more options, add your own too) all by shoving your mouse cursor into a corner. Each corner can be configured by popup for a different action. * Each box has its own unique context popup, containing options specific to its use, as well as Z-order, visibility, and docking options. * Multiple colorizations (sorry for the file-size). * Instantly set the Z-order and/or visibility state of each box by button shortcuts on each box and duplicated on a master-toggle box. * Dynamically set usable desktop space and/or bar/box positions via preset configurations, or free it all and build your own. * Minimize the entire theme into just a single shortcut (to show everything again). Handy when using the entire desk-space. NOTE: THIS THEME IS OTS1 AND NOW OBSOLETE UNLESS YOU RUN LITESTEP WITH THE COMPATIBILITY MODE ENABLED!!!

Description:
An OTS-compliant, bar-based theme. Uses Layercuts.dll, so this theme does require WIN2000 or WINXP. CONTAINS NO SCRIPTING!!! (Amazing, huh?) It’s pretty simple behind the facade: Top-bar can be on-top or duck under your apps, and the lower-bar can be made to disappear entirely. 4 VWM’s, typical shortcuts for OTS-E-vars, Winamp controls, date/time clock, and LSXCommand. Configuration popup via SHIFT+LCLICK. Original wallpaper not included to reduce file size, but can be downloaded from this site (link forthcoming). NOTE: THIS THEME IS OTS1 AND NOW OBSOLETE UNLESS YOU RUN LITESTEP WITH THE COMPATIBILITY MODE ENABLED!!!

The last theme I worked on under OTS1 standards. It’s become my pet project for understanding the OTS2 standards. Utilizes a fake circular popup (animated and transparent) and auto-hiding taskbar. Comes with four color variations. It’s still being completed: I need to finish the rainmeter and rainlendar elements, but I post it here as an exclusive for SkinYourScreen.com users. [mar.2.2005] – Attempted patch to OTS2 – updated modules – small code updates. LSZ format for easy install by OTS2.

Description:
An OTS concept theme revolving around user-configurable hotspots at the four screen corners to toggle z-order of the bars. Configuration via theme popup offers many options for any screen corner, including toggle top-bar z-order, toggle winamp/system bar show/hide, toggle both, VWM switching commands, popups, winamp show, gather, etc…. Uses layercuts, so this theme will require Win2000 or XP. Update 7/9/03 – Fixed some shortcuts, changed the task system to TASKBAR3.DLL and the shortcut menus to BPOPUP2.DLL. Also added 2 RainMeter skins (so you don’t have to download Sysmetrix, although I’d recommend it). Enjoy! THIS THEME WAS FEATURED AS A DAILY DEVIATION AT DevArt by Jark: "mrbiotech has thrown together a fairly nifty Litestep theme in Singularity. The dark background coupled with its bright blue counterpart are a creative mix of colors and design that affords maximum productivity. Litestep fan or not, this is a must grab! (Selected by $jark) (Featured on 2003-06-07 by _jark)" NOTE: THIS THEME IS OTS1 AND NOW OBSOLETE UNLESS YOU RUN LITESTEP WITH THE COMPATIBILITY MODE ENABLED!!!

Included in the archive are: – 3 different "styles" 1.) Vitreolus Classic: A plain and simple bar that stays true to the feel and color scheme of my previously released Vitreolus theme. This is a "no frills" style, no wonderful eyecandy, but good looking nonetheless. Works well with lighter colored wallpapers. 2.) Vitreolus Sleek: This style pulls out all the stops. Many little goodies such as a mini quicklaunch and graphical system stats are hidden in this style (Accessed through the "configure menu"). A little more eyecandy to this one :) Works well with all types of wallpapers! 3.) Smokey Glass: The most compact and simple of all the themes. Meant almost exclusively for dark wallpapers. Amp configuration is a little different for this theme…so don’t be suprised to see tiny amp display popping up from time to time. wallpaper in screenshot by: www.millameter.com (not included in archive)

Where James Rollins makes you grit your teeth as your favorite characters are seemingly killed only to pop up safe at the end, Iain Banks pushes your favorite characters through gut-wrenching punishment and still has the sadism to kill ‘em all at the end anyway. Don’t worry, it’s the ride that counts (or at least that’s what I keep telling myself).
Few books touch me so indelibly. Rarer still are true stories that leave a mark or impression on my soul. Tuesday’s with Morrie has done that with rapacious wit, candora, melancholy, but most importantly, truth. Life is to be lived, and fully, not sequestered away seeking money, fame. Life is who you love. This is a book to own. I hope my kids will pick it up off the shelf when they’re old enough and give it a read.
Great resource read for anyone thinking of building their own electric guitar. Great examples and nice anecdotal information. Tremendously lacking in schematic or diagramatic details, but rich with verbal suggestions. I’d recommend reading this to get an idea before going online and getting more pertinent details. Organization is a bit confusing, but when used as a reference (i.e.: skipping to a needed section) the book still proves its worth.
An American arctic research submarine stumbles upon an ice-entombed WWII-era Soviet research base holding a secret so sinister that both countries will do anything to obtain it, or ensure it is never seen by the public eye. Not the traditional action-adventure novel, Ice Hunt adds fantastic character-development, accurate science, a highly unpredictable plot to the exciting non-stop peril. Think of Michael Crichton and Dean R. Koontz on a dose of realism and you get Ice Hunt.
