i´m a little confused… i don´t understand, how to use this data properly… does it even work with windows?

Hey umbraarcana, To use this theme, you have to be running Aston Shell, which is a shell replacement for windows explorer. Aston Shell is excellent software, runs faster than windows explorer, and is recommended by mrbiotech (the creater of this site). I have been using it since 2003 with no problems. You can find a 30 day trial for it here: http://www.astonshell.com I would recommend installing it and trying it out for 30 days to see if you like it.
