Another text effect tutorial, this time i will show you a trick i leaned some times aago, but do not remember where i got it!!! anyway this effect is very soft and easy to create for diffrent purposes.

So Grab on a document with 350px/100px then fill the background with black then take your text tool then type in some text selection to work with.
The type Selection tool is located in the text option in the tools palette grab it and make your text then fill it with this color #696969 then go to your channels tab and …..
Click to create a new channel then fill it with white your text should still with the selection to do this!
Now deselect and go to this: Filter—>Blur—>Gaussian Blur and use the setting of 4px…...
go back to your grey text in layer palette and select your grey text layer to use it in the next step…...move on!!!
To acomplish polishing the shape that we need to do we must go toFilter—>render—>Lightening effects with the settings of default but make sure you check the channel of your text we made earlier. and light direction like in the picture or what works good for you!!!!

Goto layer—>adjustement layers—>Curves and check the box that says : Associate to previous layer, in the pop-up that comes, then make your curves like shown in the picture. Or try to find your settings to be safe, so do not say that this dosn’t work for you!!! you’re Warned :)
