Color iPods do video now, still called “iPod.” Video out port, larger screen, download TV shows and music videos for $2 apiece. Still same price.
PunkSoftware’s UberIcon 1.0 – Add effects to your desktop icons for free.
WinCustomize.com skinning contest extended to October 21st.
QuickNotes 1.0.0 – a freeware personal Wiki.
Ghostmenu by same developer of QuickNotes – An ALT-TAB-like menu.
Journal 1.0.0 – client-side blogging composer.
Tiddlywiki.com – A freeware microContent, Wiki-like HTML file (that’s right, a whole wiki in ONE FILE.
GameBoy Micro – IT ROCKS!!!
MobiBlu 1gig MP3-player – World’s smallest MP3 player… it’s tiny, and a LOT of fun.

It’s Java-based, so it’ll run under Mac OS X, Windows, Linux, etc…
Context-sensitive highlighting really works well.
Start-up load ain’t quick.
FANTASTICALLY expandable… great amount of well-developed plugins for coders, developers, and piddlers.
Bean-shell to evaluate expressions in the text.
Sure beats Emacs and Vim for useability and learning curve.
Yup, it’s totally free!
