Microsoft: "Free Linux software violates 42 patents."

Whu!?!  Huh!?!  It's bad to give software away for free?  MicroSuck is the New SCO!!!  Striking a deal with Novell not to sue them for using open-source; exactly the same tactic SCO used.  Claiming patents are being violated without SPECIFIC references; SCO all over again.  Hopefully the courts, if ever involved, will respond similarly as the SCO case and outright dismiss their case for lack of evidence and intent to defame.

Ya, M$ is really making me angry. First the business with games that could only be played on Vista, then they keep pushing the release of Halo 2 for PC back and back and back, and now stuff like this. How lame can you get?

Just for the record, I have totally made the switch to Vista and like it more than XP now. I take back all the stuff I said about how crappy it was. I spoke to quickly. :X lol. (I still don't like Macs though haha Rich.)

That's interesting Haxer, I started a poll ( and a bit of an argument  Undecided ) over at skinbase when I asked what people thought of Vista... some folks who had earlier slated it now say they love it ~ guess it's just a case of getting used to working with a thing.

Me? yeah, eventually got Norton to work in a round about way. Made a blank 30 gig Linux partition using Norton PM,  then loaded a PCLos live disk and used GParted to recognise the partitions and give me the options where to load the new OS. So now it automatically boots into Linux but gives me the choice to stay with Linux or go into Windows. This has meant that I haven't had to install the Norton Boot Manager, which I suspect may have been the culprit that wanted to rewrite the whole disk.

Well, I've got the actual Windows release of the game, and it is pretty sweet. I play it often.
