As said in Astonshell Forum....am projecting to make a Stargate SG1 Theme and it could be really nice .....

But the fact is that am out of ideas, needs some inspiration for Scifi interfaces......anyone have an idea???

SG1... Hmm... I'd recommend "retro-tech" - make the GUI look like the technical stone interfaces on the portal controls.  My 2 cents 

not a bad idea. I think that would be really cool. You could incorporate the symbols as icons maybe. Or something like that.

...too usuall....as the Rock design is sade and a bit hard to use in Animations......am Likely looking to Scifi interfaces......someone knows a good site to look at?!!!

I have searched the internet for some good sci fi stuff, and it has been a trial. There really isn't that much great stuff out there as far as design goes. (At least not as far a google is concerned) I have been able to come up with a few rough idea generators though. Here they are:

1) First we start off with the simplest of all, SG-1 on the Sci Fi channel's own site: http://www.scifi.com/stargate/

(At the end of this list, I see a distinct blue on lighter blue feel emerging)

I'd snag a couple of the symbols from the series and then use 'em in creating your own stone graphics from scratch (ala Prion).  Cool series

tried them, nothing really interessting......even looked into google, can't find Scifi interface to look at em, seems like no one uses that type of design?!!!!!

The cool thing about that though is that you can come up with your own style. Easier said than done I know. lol.

Nerio, I KNOW that you have the creativity in you to make this theme happen.    What can we do to help?

just help by finding some tecky interfaces to look at........Richie I Know, ....that you know.....that i just back from the crash and making this theme mean to me much then a simple drawing ......it's a big deal that am still alive, and fighting is my second name

I know   Just wanted to offer some help.  I realize it's probably a challenge in many ways getting back to theming, I'm just trying to coax you along.  I'll keep my eye out for inspirational interfaces for an SG1 theme.

You're right, it's a miraculous deal that you're not just alive, but talking, chatting, and using a computer again!    There are so many more people who have been through similar ordeals that can never pick up a spoon or speak again.  Theming or not, we're grateful to have you with us!
