Very nice indeed Chris... I'd be tempted to give the taskbar buttons some depth as they look rather bland as is ~

Thanks, but I guess what you see as bland is what I like... the kind of subtle inset feel that doesn't distract from the text. My philosophy on the taskbar is to have an inset space where the text and icons can dwell instead of being plastered on top of it.

Also, here's an updated screen shot. Has the start menu in it.

I'm agreed with mickeblue on this one. Some additional shading will give some dimension to the buttons and more clearly delineate them. Tght hey look great, mind you, but at a quick glance trying to locate a specific task might be difficult.

I'd also recommend reducing the specular highlights (the shine) on the buttons since you have whit text on them. It'll assist in the readability.

Love the overall theme! Cheesy

Whilst it's nice to have someone back you up, it's not nice to see a typo from the person most unlikely to make one... Rich?

Sorry, typing one-handed for a while while the arm heals. If it were the left arm it probably wouldn't have mattered much, but being right-handed... oy. Have trouble getting the spoon to the right place in my face

Well, I finished it. It's up on dA, here's a full screen shot. Hope you like it... even though I left the taskbar alone since I liked how it looks and never had problems determining which window was which.
