How did I know that you were going to ask that? I think we are going to have to learn Russian in order to suss out how to do it. I was thinking about it and decided I'd try posting on their forum in the hope that someone understands English and can point me in the right direction... up to now I haven't been able to get inside the asc2. file.

Quick update: they have some English language pages on the forum, so I've posted there... just have to wait and see what response I get.

Completely different track ~ http://www.brightcove.tv/title.jsp?title=1438490562 ~ this is 700 feet above a gorge!

Well it's certainly a beautiful part of Spain, though these days I think more British and Germans live there than Spaniards! Almost every week I get junk mail in the post offering me a second home in that part of the world... and we get loads of tv adverts for the same thing. But if you really did want to visit there are plenty of small 'bed & breakfast' type lodgings ~ http://www.fincalimoneros.com/cgi-bin/web.asp?pageid=41

However I don't think you'd catch me walking along that pathway... even if it was in good repair  Smiley

Haha, I think that the decrepit state of the walkway would add to the thrill. Smiley And as for your junk mail, I'd rather get that then the wonderful 'enhancement' junk mail that I get here Wink

Morning Chris Grin Grin Grin There's no answer to that ( at least not a clean one )

Finally found this ~ http://www.mickeblue.co.uk/aimp2se.zip ~ strange thing is it isn't shown on the Aimp2 webpages ( at least not obviously, might be hidden amongst all the Cyrillic stuff ). Simple skinning editor... these guys seem to have thought of just about everything with this one.

I changed the colour 'cos I'm finding the #101025 a bit hard on the eyes

Previously I haven't been terribly impressed by Web radio stations, but this one http://www.radioparadise.com/ is pretty cool. Loved the way that they played the William Tell Overture in between Pink Floyd and Coldplay yesterday afternoon!

Look forward to seeing both... Aston and aimp2  Smiley

Begger me! I was amazed at how many image files are needed to skin this darned thing.... so don't hold your breath

Made me think of a story though. Back in the 50's the much loved Irish entertainer Val Doonican had managed to get hold of a Django Rheinhard  ( Hot Club du Paris ) disk, and whilst he was listening to it his Father came in to the room.
"Da", he said, "you have to listen to this fella. He had a terrible accident and he only has two fingers on his left hand to work the fretboard."
His Faither was silent for a moment and commented "I've heard yer Man, and sure he only needs the one"

Haha, makes me think about when I was going to try skinning Litestep but I gave up pretty quickly because I couldn't figure it out, too much syntax and such. Smiley

I know what you mean Chris... I'm ashamed to admit I've still got that Ultraplayer skin that I was making in a folder here, but I can't get my old synapses around the arithmatic. ( Weird really because I hate math... algbra, trig etc. ~  but can compute a 5 figure number multiplied by another 5 figure number fairly quickly in my head... but I start bogging down when I have to go through repetitive tasks ).

Who is still using Ultra anyway?  Grin Oops!

I'm still determined to make an Aimp skin that matches the current desktop that I'm using ( http://www.skinbase.org/rate.php?skins=47477 ) but just don't anyone hold their breath. I've already got a SYS and Coolplayer that do so, so I might as well have this as well.

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  - That made my day!  Go Django!  CRAZY player!

Does Aimp2 use an XML format for its coding?  Haven't downloaded yet.  Probably won't get the chance to skin this one so I'm gonna live through your experiences vicariously Smiley

Yeah I love the HCduP sound... got several cd's of their stuff.

No Rich, that zip contains a skinning engine that does virtually everything for you... so no real excuses for my laziness other than finding time to sit down and make all the images.
