So I am working on a new theme. It's for August Burns Red (the band that I saw Sunday night) and I have been sitting at a road block for almost a week now. What I can't decide on is how I am going to do my panel. I want to do something different, and not just the typical black bar across the top that matches the systray. Any ideas to give me a push in any direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I wanna see interconnected, inter-weaving, semi-vine-like metallic strips with a little rust.

...alright, that's kinduv a tall order - how's about something irregularly shaped?  I like FrozZzen's AquazZz.  Or you could make just a weird-shaped top-thingy, like Sequencer, just as starting points.

I was however inclined to get away from the 'strips' idea as 72 dpi doesn't really give a clean edge, but I thank you guys for making me do something with Photoshop that had direction... for over a week now I've been opening the program for half and hour or so, and then binning everything.

The edges look really crisp to my eyes... and YES it is definitely an awesome idea.  Methinks that would make an awesome website header, BTW
