That vocalist is me btw. He has a Marshall half stack, or full stack, I dunno the diff, and he has 2 pedals. I don't know what kind. He usually plays an Ibanez, but he broke a string at practice the night before and didn't have another one, so he was playing a Gibson. The distortion is a little heavy if you ask me, but the crowd seemed to like it (we were asked to play more shows immediately) so it doesn't bother me.

Does your throat hurt after the first song when playing a show? You're a lot better than most guys that attempt death-grind-core
Half stack will have 4 12" speakers, while a full-stack looks like 2 half-stacks, on top of the other (so 8x12" speakers). Your guitarist should ditch his Ibanez and stick with the Gibby! I agree on the distortion - had the mid-range sucked to the point of making ears bleed, but it might just be the way it was captured by the mic on the camera.
American HiFi - Wall of Sound
you're under my skin now
I could shut out the world that we know
I'll try to be everything you want me to be
and I've gotta head start
but I'm making the same mistakes
cause it's all or nothing when I fall apart
fade, fade, fade
into you I have a philosophy that any kind of music can be enjoyed or sound good if turned up loud enough on decent speakers. I'm in the process of testing this theory...
