Just got an email from nerio's fam... I gave the full-scoop over on my blog, but let me summarize here...

• Nerio's home has burned down, including gifts sent because of the crash and his computer.
• Police strongly believe it was arson, thief's entering to grab what they could and then setting the rest ablaze.
• The shock of this added stress has been hard on Nerio, who now refuses physical therapy, food, and even conversation with loved ones.

Again, I'm asking everybody to remember this dear friend in prayers, thoughts, meditations, or however you do what you do.  I've been keeping in contact with his family through his Skinyourscreen.com mail account and urge you to do the same.  Drop him an email to give him your support.  Even a short "I miss you" will do him good at this point, if it inspires him to snap out of the shock and start eating.

Despite this hard news, I'm reminded of how this community came together to assist him immediately after accident.  I know you guys are capable of tremendous good in this world! 

This is just sickening... as if the poor guy hasn't been through enough.

He'll pull out of it... "he's a rock" as Sarah says.  I just hope it's sooner than later for his own benefit.  He's going to need all his strength for recovery.

At least they were unharmed by the incident.  Despite the loss of many sentimental items, they are still just things - our irreplaceable friend still lives, which is the most important thing.
