Microsoft Windows 1.0!!!

Zune doesn't look too bad, though.

I had an IT job at age 15 in a large insurance company.  They had a back-room we called "the arsenal" containing abandoned tech decades older than myself.  While piddling through the room and found a box about 36" wide, 12" tall, and 36" deep.  A closer inspection yielded a blue plastic device as large as the box containing it, with capacious black front panel dotted with indicator lights, but few controls.  On the back was a phone plug-in and some sort of interface plugin about 3 inches wide.  In it were three very-large circuit boards arrayed with large electronics on both sides, positioned like a giant sandwich with a big-blue commercial wrapper.

The manual lay underneath the leviathan.  It was a 300 baud modem

Cheesy

Sweet, I be it was fast too. Wink Windows 1.0 did look pretty crappy, and I agree that the zune isn't that bad. I think they have a thing against M$. Of course there was that awful flower power MAC. Cheesy The phone reminds me of the toy one that I had when I was little. I thought it was cool because it made sounds when you pressed the buttons. Now looking back, it was one of the ugliest toys ever created. Smiley

Back in the mid 80's it was always possible to tell when an estate agent ( realtor ) had entered the pub because they would be lugging these ruddy great big brick-like things called Motorola 4500's with them. http://www.retrobrick.com/4500x.html
They would then proceed to annoy the hell out of everyone by talking extremely loudly into them!  Of course now almost everyone does the same, they just use a smaller device Evil

Um... I wouldn't know exactly how to explain it. Just like a women's purse, but more masculine. Most guys don't carry them here, but someone somewhere makes them and they are not a good fashion choice.

Apparently not, maybe they are for the 'confused' ones that wear women's style pants and therefore can't fit anything in the pockets. lol
